Every day that we use the kitchen is a pleasure. We are very pleased with the quality and finish of your units and have had many admiring comments from friends and family.

I forgot to say……. Andy and I fitted and painted everything ourselves! we aren’t professional decorators, Andy is a mechanical engineer and I’m a mature student, so hopefully the photos we sent you demonstrates anyone can use your cabinets if they can use a tape measure, a spirit level, and can read up on how to paint and with a little know how.

We’re very happy with the cabinets, the quality is fantastic and we now love spending time in our new kitchen, and of course it’s fab to cook and eat in and the soft close drawers are great. I really love the bin drawers! so convenient and out of the way. The TV cabinet and cupboard around the fridge are also great designs. We substituted the plain glass in the cabinets for green crackle glass, which really makes them stand out, and several people have commented how stunning our kitchen is, and they can’t believe we did it all ourselves! 🙂

I enclose for you pictures of my completed kitchen which I will say, I am absolutely delighted to use. It has transformed my home!

Our handmade kitchen from you has been the best investment ever. The end results have been stunning and we have had many compliments.

Everyone has been highly complementary and I have given a couple of people your details.

Everyone involved in the fitting – our builder, plumber, electrician and painter – are really experienced chaps and hugely complimentary about the quality of the cabinets. Of particular note were the drawer runners, drawer construction, hinges, screws, catches and door construction; ‘solid’, ‘great’, ‘excellent’ were words used over and over again in relation to style and quality (materials and workmanship).

Having explored a number of volume and premium kitchen suppliers, my wife and I had concluded that we wanted a kitchen that was much more than off the peg.  However, having looked at Neptune and similar kitchens, we were put off by the high cost and lack of British content amongst them.  A friend of ours provided the solution to this, showing us her units from Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch, which we saw in their raw (unpainted or fitted) form. 

We did the design ourselves with the aid of the very comprehensive brochure options, but the Christchurch team was very helpful in turning into the detailed final orders, and in advising on how we could adapt units to achieve the bespoke feel that we wanted.  This was invaluable in making the kitchen work really well, as we were able to use very shallow cupboards along the front of our normal depth peninsula units to create valuable and easily accessible storage space.   We were thrilled with the quality and variety of shapes and sizes that we were able to order, and the ability of the Christchurch team to add rebates to the back and sides of units to cope with the vagaries of stairs and other protrusions.  Our kitchen looks and feels wonderful – the quality is amazing, the value for money was truly impressive, with the icing on the cake being that it was made by British craftsmen.  

We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen and happily recommend you to clients and friends.

A few years ago, we re-designed our kitchen and bought our units etc from yourselves.  They were, and still are, fantastic – we were so pleased with everything, your friendly, prompt, efficient service, the standard of the workmanship, delivery of the product – absolutely everything.  We are now re-decorating the kitchen and need to freshen up the worktops.  We bought the American Walnut which we love but can’t remember the name of the oil we should use on this wood – we really loved the dark, rich colour of this wood.  Please could you let us know the name of the product we should use?

I am attaching some photographs of my kitchen, which to be honest I have been wanting to do for some time. 

I would like to take this chance to say thank you to the whole team. I was a bit apprehensive at first, because I wasn’t sure of the process, not having a “3D design” or the kitchen installed completely finished, was quite daunting, as this is my first kitchen. After viewing your kitchen’s in your showroom and speaking with the sales advisor’s, I decided that it seemed quite straight forward. The ordering process was extremely easy. All the team was extremely helpful at every stage of the process. Even your delivery drivers were the nicest I have ever met! I honestly can’t thank you enough as I now have my dream kitchen, every single person that walks into my house can’t stop complimenting my kitchen. The design and quality of your kitchen’s has exceeded my expectations by far.  

I really hope that my photos help increase your business, as it would be so amazing for more people to know about your kitchen’s so that they too can enjoy it. I keep recommending yourselves to all friends and family. I’m sorry that the quality of the photos are not the best, should you ever want to send someone to take professional photos that would be fine, as these photos don’t do justice of just how lovely it really is.

Sadly our kitchen wasn’t finished in time to send photos by 21 November, which is a shame as it is FABULOUS!! We are so happy with the quality, of the units and the helpful members of staff at Handmade kitchens of Christchurch who helped us along the way. We were also lucky to find a great fitter, who among his many skills, was able to customised the plinth of the dishwasher in order to display the laser projection on to the floor. With the help of ‘The Traditional Painter’ Website we found an excellent kitchen unit painter, he painted our kitchen in Farrow & Ball, Haig blue and elephants breath, the inside was oiled in several coats of Osmo which shows up the beautiful oak veneer.

We couldn’t have asked for more.
