The paint colour is Little Green Hicks Blue – handles were sourced by ourselves.

Having worked in the British furniture industry for 43 years, the materials and construction were important to me when choosing our kitchen. We needed a functional kitchen that a busy family can use everyday without worry.
Similarly the design and quality had to be in-keeping with the original features of our home built in 1928.
We wanted to maximise the space and HMK had the ability and willingness to provide the units we needed.
We had lived without the kitchen we wanted for a long time so to have exactly what we needed and wanted, has been fantastic for us.
HMK did everything they said, in an efficient manner, therefore we have been happy to recommend HMK to friends and family who have already ordered kitchens.
Just writing to say a massive thank you to you all.
We started planning our kitchen in February 2018 and looked to Handmade of Christchurch for ideas.
After studying their very detailed online site, opted for a Tulipwood kitchen so we could paint it whatever colour we wanted.
There are endless options and you really do think of every tiny detail – which made such a different at the end of the day to us as we were having a whole new extension built.

Our kitchen has been in use now for nine months and we are still thrilled with the quality and how practical it is.
I would just like to stress that it does indeed look like the photographs every day. In my last kitchen I had numerous items on the worksurfaces, storage jars, utensil pots, spice jars etc. The joy of my fabulous new kitchen is that everything is put away in the large drawers but so assessable to reach. I no longer have that dread when I carry my shopping bags into the kitchen: before I was crawling on my knees or reaching for the steps to put items into the depths of the old wall units. Now everything goes into my larder and drawers – so easy.
I have enclosed a photograph of the larder that you adapted for us to fit the space plus, we had a small broom cupboard that we wanted to turn into open shelves however with advice from your colleagues the workshop was able to make us a small half size door which fitted perfectly and enabled us to have an extra little cupboard.
We spend all our time in the kitchen, only retiring to the sitting room in the evening, in truth my dining room has become rather redundant because we just love sitting around the kitchen table.

We were nervous at first to buy online and so far away from your shop. Sarina did a lot of research and was so impressed with feedback and the look of your final designs that she was very confident to use you and now we are glad we did. The quality of the hardwood compliments the glass cabinets and sink and fridge units.
We have had many people round to look at the kitchen and they have been very impressed by the look and the design of the kitchen. We think your team were really good in the helping us to get the right look and we are so glad to have used your company and would recommend you to our friends and relatives.
Can I also pass on my thanks to the delivery team, who couldn’t have been nicer. They took the time to talk through the process of painting and sanding the units which really helped get the nice final look. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I just wanted to reiterate how exceptional the customer care has been from Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch. We live only a few minutes from the Esher showroom and so I have popped in on many occasions and Lynn and Angela have been outstanding.
They have more kitchen knowledge and willingness to discuss design ideas than in many of the high end showrooms we visited. Kevin has also always had time for queries even though he was not my official sales person.
I’m thoroughly impressed and evangelical so far my first recommendation has already put their deposit down.

I contacted Handmade Kitchens in, to be honest, quite a distressed state of mind. I have an unusual shaped kitchen space and another company had designed a kitchen that would incorporate all the items I wanted so I was thrilled. I waited three months for delivery, however, one week before work was due to commence I was sent a text to tell me that they had measured the dimensions incorrectly and the design they had created wouldn’t fit …. they then walked off the job leaving me with a partially demolished room. Fortunately for me, a colleague recommended Handmade Kitchens and you saved the day. This was not an easy job to do but your team persevered and continually liaised with my wonderful kitchen fitter David. This afternoon my fabulous kitchen was finally completed with every appliance, odd shaped unit and special recess that I could wish for. It is not just me that is delighted, I wanted to also let you and the team know that David has commented that this is the first time that he has worked with you and it has been a very long time since he fitted a kitchen of such quality so he is going to offer you as an option to his clients in future. I can hardly believe that such a wonderful outcome could arise from a total disaster. Please thank everyone involved and I will certainly recommend you for years to come.

I wanted to thank you for not only the amazing kitchen we purchased from you but also the brilliant service we received. We have been over the moon with our kitchen, it is everything I hoped it would be and more. I hunted around for so many months trying to find a company that could give us a product that I had in my head as my dream kitchen but everywhere fell short of offering what I wanted. Either the product looked nice from outside but inside it was cheap and nasty, they didn’t have the detail that I wanted on the units or they just didn’t offer a colour that I wanted. So when I found your website I thought it was too good to be true!

I love my new kitchen. Everyone assumes it was VERY expensive! I love it even more because it wasn’t. It is painted in Farrow and Ball eggshell: elephant’s breath, pigeon and stiffkey blue.

I have finally finished the kitchen in our farmhouse renovation and I just wanted to write to say a massive thank you to you all. Everyone was amazing through out the whole process. I think Myra redid my quote about 5 or more times as I changed my mind along the way and fitted everything to my budget! She was very patient and nothing was too much trouble. Any time I had a problem I rang her up and she helped me out, taking me through the website with her until I found what I was looking for.
Our build has not been without it’s problems and has been extremely stressful at times but the kitchen was a good experience from start to finish. I was worried just before it arrived (as everything else was going wrong)that it would not be as good quality as the photos on the web but when it arrived it exceeded my expectations. What I was really impressed with was how solid each unit was and extremely good quality with the wonderful soft closing grass drawers. They were so beautiful unpainted that I was sorely tempted not to paint them! My larder cupboard is wonderful, I simply love it too.
I am waxing lyrical but I really was surprised at how brilliant it was. Friends have come to see the project and they all love the kitchen. One, an interior designer, has just put in an extremely expensive kitchen, 60k for a client and said she thinks thinks this kitchen is a hundred times better quality and is going to put one in her own house.
I also wanted to big thank you to the brilliant delivery guys, they explained exactly hoe everything worked, fit together and when they saw a mistake I had made on the kick boards and it was not clear which one I had wanted they brought both types free of charge, fantastic service once again. They were so charming and it was a great conclusion to a fantastic kitchen experience.
I had had lots of quotes from other companies but I chose handmade kitchens because firstly they looked beautiful but also because your team has the best customer service I have ever received. It was a whole team effort and I am so grateful to you all. Believe me when i say that it is very rare to get good customer service any where, particularly when dealing with a very expensive and well known kitchen range company which was shocking…!

Now that our kitchen is almost complete, we wanted to send a note to thank you all for our beautiful kitchen. From our initial discussions over the design and through to the delivery on the day, we cannot fault the service we have received from everyone at HKD. The quality of the product is fantastic, far exceeding our expectations and we are delighted that we have achieved the look we wanted, within budget. A couple of small errors on delivery were quickly rectified and we have the replacement products within two days. Graham, Nathan and Vanessa have also been brilliant at every stage.

We ordered a kitchen from you a couple of years ago now and have now finally finished! Our renovation was a huge task, the kitchen was such an important part for me and I was determined to do the house justice with a traditional bespoke kitchen.
